S.H.I.E.L.D has now began a fresh start after the event of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, with Phil Coulson now the new director of S.H.I.E.L.D and staying in the shadows with new recruits, it's up to him and his team to stop HYDRA from taking scientific weapons to create terrorist attacks.
Too bad it stared really slow and bad, it is SO GOOD after season 1 winter soldier event. It even got steady 10/10 from season 4. Hope ABC and DISNEY could see that this series, tho not getting much viewers, is still their pure and true series, the one that closest to MCU. And only one in ABC. So, wanna cancel it ABC? No? Good. At least, let it live until season 6 when A:IW2 hit the theatre, or even season 7 would be great. Or, make it 200th. C'mon!
Alphas was a great TV show cancelled last year about a team of government superheroes taking down super villains. They achieved greatness with a limited budget yet giving us great effects, likable characters, good story lines and villains you wanted to hate. Basically, it gave us everything Agents of Shield is missing. <br/><br/>AOS is so cliché its a joke. None of the cast gel together. They have no main villain, and the weekly villain doesn't feel like a threat worthy of their attention. Local police should be going after kidnap victims and serial killers. AOS are suppose to be bigger than that. There a spy team, yet Chuck could beat them all without breaking a sweat. <br/><br/>None of the team have any powers, or any unique skills. What skills they are suppose to have, they never use. Two scientists who haven't done any science stuff yet. A computer hacker who hasn't done anything a twelve year old couldn't do on their phone. Coulson is just a guy with a gun (most likely a LMD by-the-way). You have the knockoff Captain America guy who has shown zero spy skills, gadgets or stealth. Its just a struggle to watch.<br/><br/>They live on a plane which is stupid for so many reasons. There is absolutely nothing spy team about them and other than the logo, there are zero similarities between this Shield and the one featured in the comics, or the movie. <br/><br/>The pacing is slow, I don't care about anyone and i just want it to get better. <br/><br/>I love Marvel, i own all their films, TV shows and comics. I really really want to like this show and yet its becoming a chore to have to watch it. Please make some abrupt changes asap. Please introduce a superhero onto the team, or at least look at other Marvel superheroes to feature in the story. Please give us a recurring villain who is worthy of an international spy organisations attention. Ill continue to watchI'm a Marvel junkie but I should be desperate for the next episode, instead of dreading how it will insult me next.
